Metal labels
The metal label is made from 0.3 mm thick aluminium foil with a high-performance acrylic adhesive backing. It is a metal label with a silver metal finish.
Aluminium can be screen printed, digitally printed or engraved.
Description of the metal label
Metal labels do not tear or deteriorate when exposed for long periods to climatic conditions such as heat, salt, humidity and UV rays. Metal labels are also highly resistant to handling and other risky processes, such as shipping products.
Undeniable benefits
With its excellent dimensional stability, aluminium is recommended for interior and exterior applications where strength and durability are required.
Metal labels in industry
Metal labels originated in the industrial sector. Resistant to the stresses of harsh environments, metal labels are commonly used for their reliability in the identification and traceability of industrial equipment in steelworks, rolling mills, cement works and other aggressive manufacturing environments: metal labels are particularly resistant to the mechanical stresses of shocks and vibrations, but also to chemical stresses (acids and other fluids), cold and water in outdoor environments, oil and high temperatures. All in all, metal labels offer the longest life, whatever the conditions of use. Metal barcode labels have a long life.
Luxury goods: the perfect application for metal labels
Having been diverted from the industrial sector, metal labels are now successfully making their mark in the luxury and top-of-the-range sectors. Metal labels can be used to good effect on cosmetics to become perfume labels, and are making a name for themselves as labels for spirits, or even as labels for top-of-the-range ready-to-wear clothing. Conveying a quality image (for the same reasons as those mentioned in industry), metal labels bring a distinctive shine to top-of-the-range products, playing on brilliance, elegance and a seductiveness sometimes tinged with extravagance.
